Traveller stories
The quarter, told by the people who walked it. This corner belongs to guests: their moments, their warnings, their words. Suzy hosts the trips; travellers own the verdicts.
This shelf is empty on purpose
The channel launches with its first tours, and the first stories arrive with the first completed trips. We could fill this page today with lovely invented quotes; every rule below exists so that we never do. When the first story lands, it will be here with a name, a month and a trip you can point to.
Until then, the closest thing is the host's own field notes in the Journal, clearly labelled as hers.
How a story gets here
Travel first
Walk a route with us, stay at the hotel, or plan your days with the free guides and tools here. The story has to be earned by the trip itself.
We invite everyone
Three days after each completed trip, the invitation goes out in the same message thread as your tour. It goes to every guest, whatever their trip was like.
You write, we publish
Your words, your name or anonymous, your photos only with a yes. If you choose private feedback instead, it stays private and still gets read by a human.
The publishing rules, in public
- Every story comes from a real, completed trip. No trip, no story; there is no other door onto this page.
- Every guest is invited to write, all of them, three days after their trip. We never invite only the happy ones.
- Stories are published as written. We fix spelling if you ask; we never soften a criticism or sweeten a verdict.
- No incentives. Nobody is paid, discounted or gifted in exchange for a story, ever.
- Names and photos appear only with consent, and consent for one photo is not consent for another.

TRAVELLER STORY, Old Quarter Review Name: (not given) From: (not given) Travelled: (not given) Experience: Used the free guides only Consent: Publish my story with my name (Your story, in your own words.)
Nothing is stored on this website. Copy your story and send it through our WhatsApp or Messenger when the channel lines open at launch. Photos travel the same way, and we publish a photo only when you say yes to that photo.
Between trips, the conversation lives in our Facebook Group: travellers swapping routes, photos and honest warnings, with Suzy answering questions in person.
